Thanks to all who attended despite the forecast. Rob made some great launches whilst Jim finally got 'Spirit of St. Louis ' airborne - it hit a fence & broke a wing on its final approach to land but Jim managed to fix it and fly it again only to lose a propeller. Chris brought his new rocket but unable to test-fly it as the weather closed in around lunchtime but he flew his Rescue Helicopter and it performed well. Scott launched his Cluster Bomb and brought his 54 Special to show us - a beautiful looking rocket indeed. Jim also flew his model jet. Unfortunately the weather closed in completely early afternoon with dank rainfall but it was still an enjoyable day. Thanks to Rob for sending the wonderful photos added above......Felix
