| Great turn-out with a few new faces as we welcomed visitors, Scott and Simon from Dorset and from Cornwall, Photography student Ruth. We appreciated the effort Malcolm and Michael made coming to visit us even though Michael was unwell. We always enjoy their company. Rob made several spectacular launches with his usual confident efficiency supportively helped as always by Pete whose birthday it was ( mine too). Chris's helicopter met with a sad end and the 'Spirit Of St. Louis' finally became airborne only to lose a vital component. James' chin hit the ground at the same speed but spare parts are already in the pipeline. Roy launched the scratch-built cluster Pringle and updated us on his work with Newton Abbot School for UKAYROC. Nigel updated us on the new Rocketry 'Base' at home now finished. Kieran and Brendan are sensibly focussing on coursework at the moment.Thanks to all who came, both members and visitors.Here are a few of the photos..... Rob's have also been added.........Felix |
