SPACE

THE CAMBRIDGE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF SPACE

'SPACE RACE' - Deborah Cadbury (book of the BBC TV Programme) This was suggested by Nigel who has just finished reading it. He found it an incredible and revealing insight into the endeavour, achievement and loss of the Space Race....Review by Nigel.

'THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON-THE MAGNIFICENT MADNESS OF THE AMERICAN LUNAR QUEST' by Gerard de Groot In a negative sort of way, the companion of 'Space Race' in that it suggests genius and technology are only permitted to flourish when it promises to meet the goals of politics and those who make a life in dealing with the same. It is a 'wake-up' call to all men, women and children who dream of anything (especially travelling) beyond the boundaries of our beautiful yet limiting planet .Review by Nigel.
