O'DELL AWARD

This award is named after our prestigeous 'Rocket Boy' Patron ' O'Dell ' who has supported and encouraged us since our beginnings in 2001. From 2005, the 'O'Dell Altitude Award' will be awarded to the highest altitude gained from the SWARM launchsite each year.

"With the mirror like surface, they will be able to look into the past and also see the future. Unfurl those wings and fly higher." (O'Dell)

HOMER HICKAM AWARD

'Rocket Boy', Homer Hickam kindly sent us some memorabilia in 2002. Felix wanted to use one of the items to insprie club members & Roy turned it into an Award presented to the SWARM member who has either progressed most or contributed most to the advance of Rocketry in the South-West in each year.
